CONFIDENTIALITY AND DATA PROTECTION POLICY
Preamble
This chapter contains rules on insurance of confidentiality and data protection for “De Visu” Group (hereinafter – “De Visu”) when providing professional services.
Confidentiality policy and its terms are related solely to information posted on web-site and does not apply to any other web-sites or those of third parties which may mention or contain links to the site as well as to the links to other Internet sites which the site may contain.
General information
“De Visu” confidentiality policy was established according to principles enshrined in EU General Data Protection Regulation and in conformity with national legislation in force.
The term “personal data” means any information that relates to natural person who is identified or can be identified (“data subject”); natural person which can be identified is a person which can be directly or indirectly identified, in particular by such identifiers as name, identification number, information of whereabouts, online-identifier or by one or several factors which are main determinants of physical, physiologic, genetic, intellectual, economic, cultural or social identity of such natural person.
The processing of personal data includes operation on personal data regardless of means and procedures applied, in particular, its storage, disclosure, collection, removal, accumulation, amendments, destruction and usage.
The processing is legal only if at least one of the following conditions is met:
data subject consented to processing of his personal data for one or several specific purposes;
the processing is necessary to perform the contract to which data subject is a party, or to take actions on data subject demand prior to the conclusion of the treaty;
the processing is necessary to comply with legal obligations that apply to supervisor;
the processing is necessary to protect vital interests of data subject or another natural person;
the processing is necessary to perform tasks of public interests or to exercise official authority that lies with the supervisor;
the processing is necessary for the purpose of legitimate interests of supervisor or a third party, except when such interests are prevailed by fundamental rights and freedoms of data subject that require personal data protection especially if such data subject is child.
We provide processing of personal data during the time needed to attain certain goals. In case the legislation and adopted decisions concerning legislation in force provide for longer-term information storage the processing is prolonged for the period required.
Information storage, usage and disclosure
This site does not require authorization. The visitor does not identify him/herself, thus “De Visu” does not collect visitor’s personal information except when the visitor must register to get analytical data, mailing or to register for participation in events held by “De Visu” and/or be its partners or to apply for vacancies placed by “De Visu”.
Accessing, browsing, using functionality of site http://www.devisu.ua/, and filling any of the applications presented on the site, a visitor accepts conditions of confidentiality policy and processing of personal data and agrees to collection, storage and processing of his/her personal data and technical information according to provisions and conditions of confidentiality policy.
“De Visu” takes all possible efforts to maintain the confidentiality and protect data presented by user during its activity. Access to such information is limited. In addition, the regulations and procedures are introduced to protect information from its loss, misusage and incorrect disclosure.
The site’s administration does not transmit nor disclose visitor’s personal information to third persons without visitor’s consent except when it might be needed according to legislation in force, including:
- to provide information at reasoned request by authorized State bodies;
- to comply with the law, legal act, enforce court decision;
- to detect or prevent fraud;
- to repair site’s malfunctions.
“De Visu” stores information provided by site’s visitors solely for the purpose of related services delivery. All data is destroyed upon completion of all actions and services delivery. In case a visitor needs to change personal data provided or have his/her personal data removed, he/her must reach site’s administration using the contact information indicated below.

Autor’s right, right for material, images, photos and other files posted on the site belong to site’s administration or to specified owners. Copy of these materials may be made solely based on copyright owner’s written consent. Violation of copyright may invoke sanctions including civil responsibility, and in any case the obligation of reparation arises.
Mailing and provision of analytical data
The site offers visitors to sign for e-alerts, i.e. emails about updated information. If a quest decides to sign for mailing he/she must provide basic contact information.
In certain cases, the registration is needed to provide access to “De Visu” analytical materials, namely: articles, resumes, case studies, analysis, research, reports, etc. In such case, depending upon analytical materials the form of registration and information required from the visitor in order to provide access may vary.
Participation in events
“De Visu” provides a visitor with opportunity to register on this site for participation in events or third persons site when events are convened jointly.
Registration form for participation in event differs from registration for e-alerts or analytical materials, but in case a visitor pre-registered to receive analytical material and e-alerts his/her current data provided may be used when filling registration form for participation in event.
“De Visu” may exchange information with third persons who participate in event such as transporter, hotels, promoters, etc. provided that they are relates to the event.
Career and employment
This site gives an opportunity to leave an application to receive announcements of available vacancies, to response to vacancies posted on the site of “De Visu” and its partners provided with such service.
To receive detailed information on announcements and selection process a visitor has to go to “Career” section, register and provide personal data covered by this provision of confidentiality policy.
Social media, link to the sites of third persons
The purpose of social media is to provide unlimited opportunities for exchange of information which is useful to the public. “De Visu” provides an opportunity for everyone to receive information from blogs, forums and other Internet sources where “De Visu” is represented. However, “De Visu” is not responsible for consequences arising due to posting by visitor of personal data, subjective opinion, for instance in social media and the usage by other users of social media of information provided.
The links to social media of natural and legal entities that hosted on external sites out of the site’s administrator control may be posted on this site. “De Visu” can not guarantee accuracy and other aspects of information stored on these resources.
When using the site, the visitors should take into consideration that www.devisu.ua may post links to sites not covered by this confidentiality policy. The visitors may obtain from site’s belonging to third persons information on research, events, projects and social media in which “De Visu” takes part. “De Visu” can not guarantee safety of user’s information storage or usage by third persons. We recommend users in each case before posting their personal information to closely review confidentiality policy of third persons.
The links to the sites of third persons should not be viewed as “De Visu” support of persons mentioned or of their products and services nor as support of “De Visu” by third persons or its products and services.
Amendments
The site’s administration reserves the right at any time without prior notification of site’s user amend this confidentiality policy, amend and adjust conditions for access to site or deny access. In case of disagreement with this confidentiality policy, discontinue use of this site.
