In October 2018 the Law of Ukraine “On the Audit of Financial Statements and Audit Activity” №2258-VIII of 21.12.2017 (hereinafter – the Law on Audit) came into force. Its objective is to make domestic audit market closer to European and world models in particular by strengthening the requirements for auditors and increasing their responsibility.
