Regular Congress of Auditors of Ukraine (hereinafter - Congress) was held in the Ukrainian House on March 2, 2017 in Kyiv. The event was attended by 241 delegates of auditors from all regions of our country as well as special guests, including Nina Yuzhanina, national deputy of Ukraine, chairman of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Taxation and Customs Policy.
Delegates elected Natalia Haievska as the Chairman of the Congress, and Oleksandr Boiko as the Secretary, so they started the Congress work.
The activity of the Auditors' Chamber of Ukraine (hereinafter - ACU) of previous term was summarized at the meeting, and there were elected the ACU members delegated by the professional community.
ACU Chairman and heads of relevant committees of the Auditors' Chamber of Ukraine reported on the achievements of the previous ACU composition.
Further, the absolute majority of auditors delegated to the Congress by the secret ballot procedure elected 10 candidates of 37 run for the Chamber members for the work in the ACU and the further development of the national audit. Thus, the newly elected members of the ACU are Valerii Bondar, Valerii Galasiuk, Serhii Zubyk, Tetiana Kamenska, Iryna Kashtanova, Oleksandr Kuzub, Tetiana Lavrenova, Dmytro Sushko, Olena Kharlamova, Tetiana Shevtsova.
'It is pleasant to note that Olena Kharlamova, Deputy CEO of 'De Visu' Group, was elected by auditors as a member of the ACU. I am convinced that her experience, principled professional position and perseverance will be promotive of productive activity of the regulator of audit services and of the development of the Ukrainian audit in whole', - said Oleksandr Boiko, the President of 'De Visu' Group.
