Management of “De Visu” Group taken part in the Regional Professional meeting of auditors in Bucharest

In November of this year in Bucharest (Romania) taken place the professional meeting of auditors of Eastern Europe on benefits of Using the International Standards on Auditing (ISAs) and the Current Audit Reform Proposals.

 The event has been attended by representatives of the audit community, for the most part the heads of the Auditor's Chambers and their deputies from Ukraine, Russia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova and  Romania.

During the meeting have been discussed the actual problems of audit market development in countries of the former Soviet Union, the practical aspects of implementation of the international standards in the practice of the participating countries, as well as an approximation of Auditors’ activity of Ukraine, Russia, Moldova, Georgia, Azerbaijan and Romania to the European regulations of client's service.

Oleksandr Boiko, the President of “De Visu” Group has made a presentation on the development of audit market in Ukraine. He has reported on overall standing, tendencies, problems and prospects of Ukrainian audit market, and cited statistics data on the number of subjects of audit activity in our state, the total volume of services, the number of orders for one audit firm, their average cost, etc. All data have been demonstrated in the dynamics since 2006. An interesting point of speech has beeb the definition of a market share between companies of “Big Four” and domestic companies. The report has aroused a lively discussion and a lot of questions to the Ukrainian delegation.
