A conference for support of Ukraine was held in Kyiv. More than 500 guests from 50 different countries attended the event. Senior representatives of the international community, including the UN, OECD, EU institutions and its Member States, G7 countries as well as international organizations, global investment and business community and civil society took part in the conference.
The conference was opened by Petro Poroshenko the President of Ukraine, Arseniy Yatsenyuk the Prime Minister of Ukraine and Jean-Claude Juncker the President of the European Commission.
The President of Ukraine and the Prime Minister of Ukraine noted that our country was opened to cooperation with international institutions and they called business partners for investment activity in Ukraine that would contribute to the joint development and building relationships.
The President of the European Commission said that Ukraine was a part of the European Union, and worthy fought for its right to existence and passed the way to a stable economic and political future.
Themed panel discussions on current issues for our country were held during the event. In particular, about the donor international aid and the state of implementation of necessary reforms for Ukraine. The representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and foreign delegations chaired the panel discussions.
“It is very important that the global investment community has expressed its willingness to support reforms and provide the necessary assistance to Ukraine. The positive changes in our country will certainly come”, - noted Oleksandr Boiko the President of “De Visu” Group.
