All-Ukrainian Congress of auditors was held in Kyiv
Cornerstones issues for the audit community were discussed during the Congress. In particular, the topic of harmonization of legislation of Ukraine in the sphere of auditing activity with regulations of the European Union was raised. Also participants analyzed and expressed their opinions on the draft laws “On Auditing” registered by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of 06.10.2015, №2534, and “On financial reporting audit and auditing” released on the official website of the Ministry of Finance of 17.08.2015.
Participants and guests of the event got acquainted with certain EU statutory provisions in the field of audit activity, European models of audit regulation, expressed their opinions on the state of audit activity in Ukraine and offered examples of audit regulation suitable for the domestic market.
The Resolution was adopted based on the results of the work of All-Ukrainian Congress of Auditors
The participants voiced their support in this Resolution for full harmonization of national statutes with the European Union standard regulations and also the draft Law of Ukraine “On Auditing” registered by the Parliament of 06.10.2015, №2534, as basis for consideration.
It was decided to send the Resolution to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Administration of the President of Ukraine, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the National Bank of Ukraine, the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, National Securities and Stock Market Commission, National Commission for State Regulation of Financial Services Markets, the State regulatory service of Ukraine and also to the The Centre for Financial Reporting Reform of the World Bank.
