PrimeGlobal - member of which “De Visu” is - outlines 2020 goals

Since 2012 “De Visu” Group has been a member of the professional association PrimeGlobal that is one of 30 biggest auditing associations and alliances according to Accountancy Age rating, having the opportunity to exchange experience with the experts from 90 countries, use methods that proved to be effective and implement modern high-quality approaches to the provision of services.

Recently, Prime Global CEO Stephen Heathcote sat down with Inside Public Accounting to discuss PrimeGlobal’s ambitious goals for 2020 and look into association’s current status. What issues were highlighted?

PrimeGlobal head says that this year the association will try to balance the needs of both large and small firms, specialists and generalists, and firms that represent different countries and continents.

Stephen Heathcote notes that the needs of members differ. Indeed, North American firms set their focus on staff training and development, companies in the Asian-Pacific and Latin American regions are interested in brand popularization and European firms want more international business opportunities and to increase number of international projects. The association will strive to meet all of these demands to help its members to play leading role in their market.

“Think globally, act locally” is more than a motto. It is PrimeGlobal’s philosophy which is dominant at all levels – both among association’s and member firms management teams.

The firms from different countries and continents will interact more actively. The association proposes a number of different ways for such cooperation.

PrimeGlobal will also introduce professional novelties to its members. In particular, in the near future MindBridge Aian AI-powered auditing platform, will be demonstrated to the members of the association as well as inventory management software – Intuit, QuickBooks, TurboTax і Thomson Reuterswhich are innovations that provide marketing research, tax and accounting.

PrimeGlobal will use all the opportunities that modern technologies offer. For instance, traditional conferences will be blended with online connection. At world conference in Rome PrimeGlobal experimented with Braindate, which provided digital connection for all participants – both present and those who followed it online.

Increased technology awareness of member firms, ability to productively harness the potential of cutting-edge technology, talent development, increase of women's leadership, effective partnerships and development of leadership skills are 2020 priorities for PrimeGlobal.

“Next year we will present long-term development plan which should help firms to reimage their future. The world is changing, and we must adapt to new environment. Our goal is comprehensive support of member firms to enable their continuing development and growth”, PrimeGlobal CEO Stephen Heathcote concluded

“Having worked in the professional business services market for 25 years, eight years ago we decided to join PrimeGlobal, an international professional association. This step allowed us to develop an international corporate culture within a group of companies, to join international projects, to constantly improve the knowledge and skills of our teams, which have the opportunity to adopt the experience of our colleagues from six continents. We are moving forward together”, , De Visu” Group President Oleksandr Boiko added.
