The transfer of land plots free of charge from state and communal lands to the ownership of citizens in the amounts specified by law is carried out once for each type of use. This means that every citizen has the right to receive in private ownership up to six plots of land for various intended use: farming; personal farming; gardening; construction and maintenance of a residential building, outbuildings and structures (homestead); individual country house construction; construction of individual garages. How to do it?
We offer step-by-step instructions on how to exercise this right.
Step 1. Select vacant land at the desired location and with the appropriate use. Use the Public cadastral map at the link https://map.land.gov.ua.
Step 2. Appeal to the village, settlement, city council (if the issues relate to communal lands) and provide the necessary documents.
Step 3. Order the development of a land management project in the land management organization by concluding an appropriate agreement with a clear definition of the cost and timing of work.
Step 4. Register land in the State Land Cadastre.
Step 5. Approve the land management project for the allocation of land.
The decision on approval of the land management project is at the same time a decision on the transfer of land ownership or use.
Step 6. State registration of land ownership in the State Register of Real Estate Rights and Encumbrances.
After registration in the State Register of Real Estate Rights, a person becomes a full owner of the land.
